THE LEGAL AGREEMENTS SET OUT BELOW GOVERN YOUR USE OF THE HUE SERVICES (“SERVICES”). BY USING THE HUE SERVICES YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS, AS SUCH MAY BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME AT HUE’S ABSOLUTE DISCRETION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE THE SERVICES.
Hue offers unlimited graphic design for a fixed-price, paid either monthly or annually for a discount.
1. User signs up for one of two subscriptions.
2. User submits task(s) to designer.
3. Designer delivers the task.
4. If revisions are needed, the designer performs those revisions and re-delivers the task.
5. User accepts the delivery.
6. The next task begins, and the process is repeated.
Acceptable tasks: There are very few limits when it comes to what you can have designed with Hue. A comprehensive list of available tasks can be found here.
Rejected tasks: Complex illustrations are not currently available through Hue. In addition, Hue reserves the right to reject any task at any time.
Turnaround time: Different tasks require a different amount of work. Hue aims to delivery tasks as soon as possible, normally within 2-3 business days. Depending on the complexity of the tasks, they may be delivered sooner, or take longer.
Submitting more than one task at a time: Customers can submit as many tasks at one time as they wish. However, tasks submitted simultaneously will be handled one at a time. Our designers will not move on to the next task until the current task is completed and approved.
Files: Customers have the right to request any file type within reason, whether that be a flattened or layered (editable) file. However, in the case an editable file is delivered and manipulated by the customer, Hue has no obligation to work on that file ever again.
Revisions: We are proud to offer unlimited revisions to our customers. If a customer receives a file and is not happy with it in any way, it is the right of the customer to send the file back to the designer with a detailed description of desired changes. These revisions are treated like a new task and may require more than 1 business day to complete.
Refund Policy: If you sign up for Hue and decide for any reason within 7 days that it isn't a good fit, we will refund your purchase 100%. However, refunds are not issuable on the 8th day and beyond.
Intellectual Property: In order to prevent abuse of our money-back guarantee, all artwork completed and delivered within the 7 day trial period is the intellectual property of Hue, and cannot be used in anyway if the user cancels without making at least one payment. We have zero tolerance for those who wish to take advantage of our services, and will pursue whatever means necessary if such abuse occurs.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account at any time for failure to comply with this agreement, or for any other reason within our discretion.
File Backup; No Liability: Although we try, it is not the job of Hue to backup already delivered files. If you receive a file and approve it, it is your duty to protect that file. In the case that it is lost or manipulated outside of Hue, it is not our responsibility to restore that file in any way.
How to: If you are unhappy with our services or need to cancel for any other reason, simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting that we cancel your account. Although you may not receive a response instantly, cancellation occurs the moment the email is delivered to our inbox.
Refunds: Refunds are not available for monthly subscribers. Cancellations must be made prior to the next billing cycle in order for a refund to be available.
Refunds are, however, available for annual subscribers. The amount refundable will depend on time remaining in the current annual billing cycle. The refund will also be processed at the normal monthly rate (prior to the 15% discount) to prevent users from taking advantage of the annual discount without the intention of fulfilling the annual commitment.
